Description: Senior Director, eClinical Operations

Objective- Incumbent will be responsible for the strategic development of the eClinical Operations Department located, initially, in Hyderabad India.

- The role will provide an important bridge between on-site management/team leadership and functional managers/team leadership based in other operational facilities.

- The primary responsibility will be to ensure the growth of the India eClinical Operations department in line with Perceptive's strategic and long range planning, and to ensure the efficient delivery of high quality project artifacts.

Key Responsibilities- Develop eClinical Operations Strategic Plan that focusses both on individual service line resources (i.e. EDC, RTSM etc.) and also eClinical resources/processes required to operationally support our current/planned clinical solutions (MyTrials, SaaS etc.).

- Develop Organizational Model and Plan for India operations.

- Developing an efficient organization strategy applicable across all service lines that enables PI India and be primarily responsible for ensuring the business here is meeting our needs and is supportive of our eClinical objectives.

- Act as most senior eClinical leader on the ground, in India, ensure communication and collaboration between India based as well as with non-India based resources at a tactical as well as strategic level.

- Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner.

- Be responsible for the development of management and team leadership skills and capability over here.

- Ensure the teams here are producing quality product and we have appropriate productivity as well as quality metrics being reported and managed.

- Provide process design leadership to ensure that any workflow and involvement in project delivery processes is optimally designed and high efficient.

- Be available to both non-India as well as India teams for issues around project escalation.

- Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales.

- Act as line manager for India based line management, work with India and non-India functional management to develop organization structure that adequately balances local and functional management needs.

- Ensure all employees comply with mandatory requirements for project and time reporting.

- In conjunction with India HR, develop appropriate retention strategies for local staff.

- Ensure local recruitment capability is tailored to our specific needs and be involved in the selection and hiring process.

- Develop an 'identity' for eClinical Operations in India and ensure, through seeking out opportunities for collaboration and communication, that employees feel appropriately connected to the department. Work with Medical Imaging and Engineering Senior Management to ensure India employees fell connected to 'Perceptive'.

- Be accountable for the delivery of high quality project artifacts and be responsible for corrective action should quality deviate from expected standards.

Experience:
Essential Skills & Experience- 10+ years experience in operational management preferably for a bio-pharmaceutical company, a Contract Research Organization, or international company providing similar services to the healthcare industry, backed by demonstrated evidence of ability to develop and implement operational plans and programs that drive business sales and profits, combined with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

- Has had significant 'western hemisphere' work experience which is more than 'short term' secondment for a few projects.

- Significant prior experience of leading India based operational teams.

- Experience working with clinical technologies such as CDM, EDC, IVRS.

- Developed operational strategy for service delivery.

- Has process design, process optimization experience/background.

- Has previously been in senior management role that bridges western / India business culture.
