Vacancy: Manager- Medical Writing (Hyderabad/Pune)

Description

  • Provide overall management/supervision of resources, oversee medical writing services, assure compliance with applicable regulations, guidances, guidelines, ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Assigns project work.
  • Meets established financial targets.
  • Provides required metrics.
  • Prepares reports/spreadsheets as required.
  • Manages, coaches, guides development of direct reports.

  • Effectively delgates and intervenes as required to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Leads and participates in meetings as required.
  • Ensures departmental adherence to standards in producing deliverables.
  • Conducts performance reviews.
  • Acts as source of knowledge for creation of deliverables.
  • Completes administrative tasks required by role.
  • Maintains professional knowledge by affiliating with professional organizations, continuing education, conferences, workshops.
    Will be required to create reports, enter data in spreadsheets, creat slide presentations; must be proficient in MS Office v2007 applications.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced life science or clinical degree highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of financial, quality, human resource factors affecting business quality.
  • Previous management/leadership experience in pharma or CRO industry. Previous experience as senior medical writer in pharma or CRO.
  • Ability to supervise, train, mentor employees, assist in organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to motivate others and build internal and external teams. Able to understand and interpret clinical and scientific data, working knowledge of statistical concepts/techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in collaborateve environment. Creative decision-making skills.
